Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), held it Matriculation Ceremony for the 2024/2025 academic session, along with the 12th Commencement Lecture, which took place on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at the Professor Oluwafemi Balogun Ceremonial Building. The event commenced at 10:00 a.m.
According to myschoolnws.ng All matriculating students are required to wear
academic gowns and caps, which will be available for collection at the respective Colleges starting Monday, November 18, 2024. To collect the gowns, students must present and submit a photocopy of evidence of payment for the 2024/2025 session at their College Office.
Matriculants are reminded that failure to return the gowns and caps by 12 noon on Friday, November 22, 2024, will attract a fine of ₦1,000 per day, while any loss will incur a replacement fee of ₦45,000.

Students are advised to be seated at the venue by 9:30 a.m., as all entrances will be blocked once the Vice-Chancellor’s procession begins.
The university also emphasized the importance of signing the Matriculation Oath online, noting that failure to do so would disqualify individuals as bona fide students of FUNAAB.
This ceremony serves as a formal induction into the university community, and all matriculants are encouraged to comply fully with the outlined guidelines.
